Though it was introduced in Chrome\u00a0in May 2020. The feature is available on both Android and desktop. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can browse about specific stuff in each tab group, this helps you to organize and clean your browser. Using Google Chrome tab groups allows you to switch between different web pages easily. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Previously you were not able to browse in groups, and this will let your browsing page be disorganized. But with the new feature on Chrome, you can group everything you want to do with your browsers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From social media to finding information, and researching on a topic to your money tab. If you haven&#8217;t updated your <a href=\"https:\/\/www.techvocast.com\/how-to\/how-to-install-google-chrome-theme-and-extension\/\">chrome browser<\/a> you should probably do because tab groups are available as default now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Chrome grouping style is an interesting <a href=\"https:\/\/www.techvocast.com\/best\/best-web-browser-a-new-way-to-see-the-internet\/\">way to browse the web<\/a>, with the tab, you&#8217;re able to organize and easily navigate to. And you should update your browser if you haven&#8217;t in a very long time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The now updated Chrome comes with tab groups as default, which means you don&#8217;t have to go to &#8220;chrome flags&#8221; to set it up. If you haven&#8217;t updated your browser here is go you can enable tab groups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>1<\/strong>. Open your <a href=\"https:\/\/www.techvocast.com\/how-to\/here-is-how-you-can-view-your-passwords-on-chrome-browser\/\">Chrome mobile browser<\/a> and tap on the address bar. And then copy this &#8220;chrome:\/\/flags&#8221; to your browser address bar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2<\/strong>. The flags is an inbuilt Chrome setting that lets you customize your browser. On the flags page that says &#8216;search for flags&#8217; type &#8216;groups&#8217; and a list of flags will appear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>3<\/strong>. On the flags that say &#8220;Tab Groups&#8221;<br>\u2014 Allows users to create groups to better organize their tabs on phones. \u2013 Android. Click on the drop-down menu and select &#8216;Enabled&#8217;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Do the same for &#8220;Tab Groups Continuation,&#8221; and &#8220;Tab Groups UI Improvements&#8221; to better organize your group tab. Once you&#8217;ve done that you just have to relaunch your Chrome browser\u2014or remove the app from the minimize menu and relaunch the app. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you&#8217;ve relaunched the Chrome app you&#8217;ll see the group tab feature on your browser. You can now organize and browse clean on your mobile phone. Your tab will then be removed from the group. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Or from the group tab click <strong>(^)<\/strong> and then tap on the three-dot at the top right corner after the <strong>(+)<\/strong> symbol, and click on &#8220;Remove tabs from the group&#8221;. Select the tab and click on Remove.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you decide you want to remove the group tab completely, click on the tab switcher at the top right of your browser to access all the groups. Tap on <strong>(x)<\/strong> to close the group permanently or swipe the tab to left or right to remove.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-how-to-enable-group-tab-on-desktop\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"how-to-enable-group-tab-on-desktop\"><\/span>How to enable group tab on desktop<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you want to enable tab groups for Chrome on your laptop or desktop computer you might not see it anywhere for you to enable it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Because the feature is already enabled. So how can you use it? To use the group tab on a desktop computer, drag and drop the tab on another tab to group it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On <a href=\"https:\/\/www.techvocast.com\/how-to\/here-is-how-you-can-transfer-your-app-to-a-new-android-phone\/\">Android devices<\/a>, you can group your tabs and label them with a custom name but can&#8217;t set a specific color for the group. Once the tabs are grouped, you can move and reorder them on the tab strip.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>1<\/strong>. To start grouping tab on your laptop or desktop computer, you&#8217;ll need to first open all your favorite websites, and then right-click on a tab and select \u201cAdd To New Group\u201d from the context menu. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2<\/strong>. Once you click add to new group, a small colored circle will appear next to the tab. From here you can start customizing and adding tabs to the groups. When you click the colored circle, the tab group menu will show you can now label and select a color for the group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>3<\/strong>. When you open a new tab and want to add them to a group right-click on the tab and click&nbsp;&#8220;Add to group&#8221;, and then select the group you&#8217;d like to add them to (if you&#8217;ve created more than one group).
