  • You’ll lose all the data and content in that account, like emails, files, calendars, and photos.
  • You won’t be able to use Google services where you sign in with that account, like Gmail, Drive, Calendar, or Play.
  • You’ll lose access to subscriptions and content you bought with that account on YouTube or Google Play, like apps, movies, games, music, and TV shows.

How to delete Google account from phone

For Android, you can access Google Account from anywhere. You can go to your Settings, and then Google. Or any Google app, like Gmail, Drive, etc.

You can also use the web. iPhone or iPad doesn’t have Google settings built-in. You can only access your Google Account through the web, or the Gmail app.

1. Go to “Settings” on your Android device, scroll down, and tap on Google. Click on the drop-down on the email address to select the Google Account you want to delete, then click on “Manage your Google Account” and it will take you to your account home page.

2. For iPhone go to the Gmail app and click on your profile photo, then click on “Manage your Google Account” and it will take you to your account home page.

3. On the scroll menu, click on “Data & privacy.” Scroll down to the “Make a plan for your digital legacy and Delete your Google account” section and select “Delete your Google account”.

4. On the next page Google will ask you to confirm your password again, then follow the instructions provided by Google to delete your account permanently. Before you delete your Google Account, you can download all your Google Account data.

1. On your web browser go to your Google Account; https://accounts.google.com and select “Data & privacy” from the navigation panel.

2. Scroll down to the “Make a plan for your digital legacy and Delete your Google account” section and select “Delete your Google account”.

3. On the next page, select Delete your Google Account, and Google will ask you to confirm your password again. Then follow the instructions provided by Google.

Once you permanently delete your Google Account you won’t be able to access Gmail, Drive, YouTube and other Google Apps. If you intend to still continuing using Google services you can reactivate your account before the deletion is complete.
