Open your preferred browser and navigate to YouTube,
Click on your profile icon or the three-dot icon at the top right corner of YouTube web
Click on the ‘Dark theme’ and YouTube will change its colors to a dark background with light text when you click the switch.

Make sure you have the latest version of YouTube app on your mobile phone, once you open the YouTube app,
Tap on your Google account icon in the top right corner of your screen,
Scroll down and tap on the ‘Settings’.
Tap on the ‘General’ section in the Settings menu—scroll down to see the Dark theme option—to turn it on or off the tap on the slider.
If it isn’t worth it, you turn it off.
