Dark mode reduce how your mobile phone consume battery and help makes it soft on the eyes. Slack and the Google Play Store also support dark mode so you eyes don’t fall off.
Dark mode for Pinterest is only available for iOS and Android. The desktop web version is in development — once complete it will be release.
You can only enable dark mode for Android and iOS Pinterest app with mobile web — through the app or web settings.

To activate dark mode for Pinterest app for Android 10 and older — tap your profile in the bottom right corner, go to settings and click on account settings and tap on App theme then select dark to turn on dark mode.
To enable dark mode for Pinterest on iOS 13 — go to your device’s Settings, tap Display & Brightness and select Dark to turn on dark mode.
The mobile web version is probably the same — click on your profile, tap on edit settings and enable night mode for mobile web.

To change from a white to a dark theme you need a browser extension called Stylus, Night Eye or Dark Reader.
This extension can change your white background to dark — giving you a nice looking dark mode on the web, even if it not the official Pinterest desktop dark mode.
