Maybe will miss this part in march but we were invisible then. The Google Play Store already have a dark mode following the like of Facebook, Twitter and their own popular app like YouTube. Gmail has a dark mode but for Android 10.
Wonder why only Android 10 keep getting dark mode first — the system wide display. Some major apps launch dark mode for later Android before Android 10 came along.
Google is slowing implementing dark mode to all its apps — but most of them in Android 10 already has dark mode and it just for the other version to follow up.
So if you want it all dark in your Google Play Store app — here is how you can enable dark mode for both Android 10 and other older version.
Dark mode for Play Store in Android 10
To activate Google Play Store dark mode in Android 10 is just like every other app that support dark mode.
To enable the dark mode on Android 10 go to your settings of your prefer Android 10 device and under Display or General (base on the device) click on theme and you’ll see the options available.
Choose the dark mode and all Android apps will go dark but only for those that support dark mode including Google Play Store.
If you don’t like it you can switch back. And separately enable dark mode from the app you want.
Dark mode for Play Store in later Android
Hopefully Play Store doesn’t just allow dark mode for Android 10 only — but for other older Android version. And to enable dark mode is just a few click.
To enable dark mode for later Android: go to your prefer Android device, 9 or older — open the Google Play Store app and click on three horizontal line at the top left corner and it will open the Play Store menu, go to Theme under Settings you find the options to enable dark mode.
Your Play Store will generally turn dark, and it a pleasant look but if you don’t like it you can simply turn it off the way you activate the dark mode.
