If you have a Google Account, the activities of your previous and current browsing are stored. And yes, they have a way of collecting your data, you can delete your Google Activity if you want to. Google has a diary of you, on what you like, what you don’t like, and the apps you use most of the time.

Your behaviors are in a diary called Google Activity. It contains all the online activities you do. But it’s only available for those that have a Google Account.

Three in every five-person have a daily routine of using Google service. And you can’t just seem to avoid using Google services. But all the same, you can control the information Google records of you from your account.

You should know that if you are using the same Google Account for all your device. Your online activities will be recorded from all devices. And when you delete your Google Activity on one device, your Google web activities will also be removed from other devices.

Delete Google activity on Android and iPhone

This is pretty much the same from every device out there, because we are using the web, except, of course, you can easily go to manage your account through some of its apps.

On your iPhone, open the Gmail app. At the top right, tap your profile picture, then Manage your Google Account. If you don’t use Gmail, go to myaccount.google.com.

If you are using an Android device, go to your device’s Settings > Google, select the Google account, and click on “Manage your Google Account.”

1. Click on Data and privacy. Scroll down, under “History settings” click on My Activity.

2. Click on the three-dot and select “Delete activity by” time, day, or the range you wish to delete.

3. You can also filter the item you want to delete and click apply to delete.

  1. On your phone, go to myactivity.google.com.
  2. Above search your activity, tap Delete.
  3. And select between Last hour, Last day, Always, Custom Range.

Delete your Google Activity Automatically

On your Android phone or tablet, open your device’s Settings app >  Google > Manage your Google Account.

On your iPhone, open the Gmail app. At the top right, tap your profile picture, then Manage your Google Account. If you don’t use Gmail, go to myaccount.google.com.

Tap on Data & privacy and scroll to the “History settings” section Select “Web & App Activity,” “YouTube History,” or “Location History.” Scroll down and tap on Auto-delete.

Tap the option for how long you want to keep your activity, tap on Next and Confirm the settings.

Don’t want to save your Google Activity

On your Android phone or tablet, open your device’s Settings app >  Google > Manage your Google Account.

On your iPhone, open the Gmail app. At the top right, tap your profile picture, then Manage your Google Account. If you don’t use Gmail, go to myaccount.google.com.

Tap on Data & privacy. Under “History settings,” tap on “Web & App Activity,” or history you don’t want to save, and click on Turn off > Pause > Got it.

Delete Google Activity on computer

If you are using a computer, you can access your Google Account with your web browser.

1. On your computer, go to your Google Account. On the left navigation panel, click Data & privacy.

2. Scroll down, under “History settings” click on My Activity. Click on the three-dot and select “Delete activity by” time, day, or the range you wish to delete.

4. You can also filter the item you want to delete and click apply to delete.

Delete your Google Activity Automatically on computer

On your computer, go to your Google Account. At the left, click Data & privacy.

Under “History settings,” click activity or history setting you want to auto-delete. Click Auto-delete.

Tap the option for how long you want to keep your activity, tap on Next and Confirm the settings.
