You can now use Google Assistant’s to interpret 44 languages

Google Assistant’s interpreter mode is now available in mobile phone. Assistant now let you interpret 44 language. The Interpreter mode, allows Google Assistant to translate your conversations in real time. And you can triggered the translation mode by saying specific commands related to the language.

Assistant will work with 44 languages and can be invoked by saying commands like “Hey Google, be my German translator.” or “Hey Google, help me speak Thai”. With the translation mode available for Assistant, it will work on both iOS and Android mobile.

The interpretation mode was only available on Google Home smart speakers and displays before, but now is available for mobile. You can download the latest version of the app from the Google Play Store and Apple's App Store.

In interpreter mode, Google Assistant will translate your speech and read it out loud. It can also offer "Smart Replies" that can speed up the conversation, by responding without you having to speak.
