What if tell you that you would be able to turn your iPhone into an iPod with just an app. Yeah, you can do that, with just an app that is available on the Apple's App Store. It simply change the skin, the app can also syn to Apple Music.

So if you have always wanted the click wheel on your iPhone while not having an iPod, the new app helps you bring the music playing device as a touchscreen. The good thing about the app is that it syncs to Apple Music Library, while it uses downloadable skin to transform the app into an iPod.

Rewound’s has been working on this, to bring back Apple iPod as a modern touchscreen to iPhone device and everyone who want to see the click wheel button again. Rewound’s developer told The Verge Louis Anslow of Rethought agency, has been working on the app for a year.

The idea is to bring back the idea of buttons and the nostalgia of devices like the iPod. “You can program physical appearance of a device,” explains Anslow in an interview with The Verge. “It could become anything.”

Rewound only supports Apple Music right now, but there are plans to add Spotify in the future. Skins are simply downloaded after the app is installed which can turn the app into anything.
